They have been delivering safe, effective interventions for alcohol addiction and drug addiction in Yorkshire, Humberside and Lincolnshire for more than 30 years. The free drop in event at The Depot, Hall Gate Centre, Hall Gate is open between 1pm to 4pm to share information with the local community on how its Mexborough Hub will support people with drug and alcohol problems – and their families – to beat their addictions.

Aspire Service manager, Stuart Green, said: “It’s vital people can access our services in the communities where they live, to make it as easy as possible for them to get the help and support they need, and build meaningful recovery in communities.

“We’ve listened to what members of the Mexborough community have told us about where they want their hub to be, so we hope local people will come along to find out more about what we do.

“This event will include therapy taster sessions, along with information and advice on the kind of support we can offer at the hubs. It’s open to anyone who’d like to know more about the help we provide – including families and friends of people experiencing problems with addiction.”

For more information about the event visit www.aspire.community, or call 01302 303900.
