A MAN will appear at Sheffield Crown Court on Monday charged with murder after the body of a woman was found in a flat in Thorne.
Jason Goodwin (34) of Fieldside, is charged with the murder of Joanne Cooley.
The 27-year-old, of Finkle Court, Thorne, had multiple injuries to her body when she was discovered in a first floor flat in Fieldside last Thursday.
An inquest held this week heard how police forced their way into the property and found Miss Cooley, who the court heard was unemployed, on the kitchen floor.
She was pronounced dead by paramedics shortly after 10.30pm.
DC Neil Trout, of South Yorkshire Police, told the hearing that a decision on whether to hold a second post mortem examination would be made before the end of the week.
Miss Cooley's father John, of Baxter Avenue, Doncaster, spoke only to confirm matters relating to identification.
Deputy coroner Fred Curtis adjourned the inquest to a date to be fixed.
