LIVE REVIEW: Magician Dynamo delivers mind-bending, spell-binding show

This could be one of the trickiest live reviews I've ever written.

Dynamo: Seeing Is Believing

Sheffield Arena

Until February 28

Normally, you can sit down and pen a review, talk about the bits you like, the bits that weren't so good and then sum it all up.

On this occasion, this really is going to be one you are going to have to check out for yourself.

That's not to say there's not plenty to see about this spell-binding, mind-bending show by Yorkshire magician Dynamo - it is just if I did, it would spoil it for anyone else fancying taking in one of the forthcoming dates.

Add to the fact that the man himself doesn't want any spoilers with a strict ban on mobile phones and you'll see why putting together something is so tricky.

But words probably couldn't do justice anyway. Dynamo is a true showman, a born entertainer, a man who can have 4,000 people in a huge arena feeling like that he's performing tricks to them, one to one.

Screens relay the close-up magic while there's plenty of big stunts that the Bradford-born mind-bender has become famous for during his career.

There's plenty of audience participation and loads of moments where you'll be left scratching your head and puzzling at exactly how he's doing what he's doing.

You know there must be some trickery involved - but just what, well, that's what will have you going away and pondering over how it all comes to fruition.

Believe you me, Dynamo's show is one of the best you'll see this year.

Tell your friends and don't miss it. Just don't say too much.
