Keep Doncaster tidy for the torch relay

A CHARITY is urging residents in to join its clean-up campaign ahead of the Olympic torch relay.

Keep Britain Tidy wants people to make sure footpaths, parks and playing fields are litter-free when the torch passes through Doncaster on June 26.

The national summer clean-up mission is part of of the Love Where You Live campaign which aims at highlighting the importance of making the UK litter-free.

The iconic flame will be passing through a number of Doncaster villages including Conisbrough, Warmsworth, Balby, Armthorpe, Dunsville and Hatfield.
