•NORTH Lincolnshire Council has organised energy advice sessions to help people be more energy efficient.

Free carbon monoxide detectors will be available at sessions on January 30 at Epworth Local Link from 9.30am to 12.30pm and at Crowle Local Link on the same date from 2.30pm to 5pm,

• ISLE householders are asked to add a new resolution to their New Year list in a bid to prevent fires.

Humberside fire and rescue service ask people to introduce a round-the-house bedtime check. If fire breaks out, these steps can make escaping quicker and easier, but a routine can prevent a fire in the first place, it says.

• A MEETING to decide on issues including fundraising priorities in an Isle school will take place next month.

The organisation FOBS (Friends of Belton School) will hold its AGM in school on Wednesday, February 6, at 9am.
Anyone with an interest in the school may attend. Fundraising suggestions are welcome.
