Housebuilder Miller Homes is hosting a ‘Help to Buy’ weekend.

The event will take place at its Minster View development at Gringely-on-the-Hill on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th February to highlight the appeal of the scheme to prospective buyers.

“Help to Buy is a superb initiative which we are pleased to offer at developments across the region as well as on several properties at our Minster View development,” said Sarah Whinfrey sales manager Miller Homes Yorkshire. “It gives buyers who have smaller deposits greater flexibility to choose a brand new home and all the benefits which that brings.”

One property which is available at Minster View through Help to Buy is the three bedroom semi detached ‘Waite’ home, which offers well designed accommodation suitable for lone purchasers, couples or small families. French doors lead from the dining kitchen area into the rear garden, there is a separate living room to the front of the property and three bedrooms are to the first floor. For example, a three bedroom ‘Waite’ home is available for £140,000 or from just £112,000 now with a ‘Help to Buy’ equity loan.

Paul Jackson, a Minster View resident purchased his first home through the scheme and commented, “Help to Buy was a great way to make sure we got a fantastic, five bedroom detached Miller home in which we could put down some roots for our future together. It helped us make a smooth transition from rented to home ownership and the team at Miller Homes made the entire process enjoyable with their professionalism and commitment to ensuring each customer’s individual needs are catered for. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.”
