Help charity

BOSSES at Doncaster Racecourse are hoping to raise thousands of pounds for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance at this autumn’s St Leger Festival.

The venue is selling some all inclusive tickets for the racing on Friday, September 9, the day before the major race day of the meeting, with £50 from each donated to the YAA.

Over £9,000 was raised from a similar arrangement last year, which also included an auction for the charity that needs to raise £7,200 a day to keep its helicopters flying.

The £150 tickets include dinner, a free bar and parking as part of the package.

To ask about reserving places contact Katie Collinson on 07770 835 241.

The charity operates two helicopters in the county. For more about the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and fundraising visit
