Heavy and thundery rain expected overnight across Yorkshire

The Met Office reports that the region will remain largely dry at first this evening.

However, cloud will quickly thicken and increase with outbreaks of rain spreading northwards, this becoming locally heavy and possibly thundery, especially in the south.

Some fog patches are likely. A mild night with light winds. Minimum Temperature 10°C.

Saturday will be largely cloudy with outbreaks of rain, this locally heavy, especially over hills.

But becoming lighter and more patchy later. Generally feeling on the cool side with a light northeasterly breeze. Maximum Temperature 15°C.
