Support for the children’s ward at Scunthorpe hospital has increased thanks to the new Mayor of Crowle Councillor Eric Dinsdale.
The Mayor has announced that Disney ward will be his chosen charity of the year, after two of his grandchildren received treatment from the service. He said: “I wanted to choose a charity that supports children locally and Disney ward seemed the perfect option. “I was delighted to be given a tour of the ward by staff and get an insight into the type of everyday work and facilities used. I will have several events planned throughout the year including my big event, the Mayor’s party in April next year.”
