RESIDENTS are being urged to tell their community officers about concerns in their area.

Whether it is anti-social behaviour, littering or speeding, people are invited to tell their Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) about it.

For Kirk Sandall, Edenthorpe and Barnby Dun residents should contact the Armthorpe SNT.

Priorities in these areas of late have included reducing vehicle crime especially in the Tesco car park in Thorne Road, Edenthorpe.

Officers patrolled the area in a bid to tackle problems because car parts were being stolen.

During a day of patrolling last month, the team found that registration plates were targeted by thieves who were taking the parts from unattended vehicles in the car park.

The officer probe came as a result of residents complaining at their Partners and Communities Together meeting which gives the chance for villagers to speak to officers and other authorities about issues in their area.

Come along and air your views at a public meeting held on Thursday, June 28, from 7pm at Kirk Sandall Assembly Hall in Denton’s Green Lane.
