LADIES Luncheon Club met at the Earl of Doncaster for their monthly lunch. Speaker was Mrs Janet Stein who gave a very amusing and informative talk on 'A Brief History of Knickers'.
Each member received an Easter Egg and there was a large raffle of various eggs bought and displayed by Mrs S Reid and Mrs M Norman.
Winners of the raffle were Mesdames J Lumb, Atack, Oldfield, Downing, M Platt, M Grimshaw, J Mackintosh, S Rackham, N Charnock and B Pearson.

Friends of Hatfield Church Building Trust are holding a Pub Quiz at the Bay Horse on Thursday, 19th April at 9 pm.
Coffee Morning and Book Sale will be held at Hatfield Library on Thursday, 19th April, 11 am - 12.30 pm. Proceeds in aid of Moebius Syndrome Foundation.
A meeting of the Parochial Church Council discussed the regeneration of the Barn which is guided and administered as trustees of the Haydon Trust by the resident Vicar of Hatfield Church and the two current churchwardens of the church.
A questionnaire some months ago agreed a new building was needed. A small steering was formed to move the project forward and they need more information from the people who use or will use the building. The Barn Regeneration Steering Group proposed that an application for a grant be made on behalf of the PCC to the Big Lottery Fund Community Buildings Programme. The PCC decided by a majority vote to go ahead with application.
Coffee Morning in aid of Bluebell Wood will be held in the Barn on Saturday, 14th April, 10 am - 12 noon.
