Furthermore an inaugural Clifton Park hill-climb and cycle event is also being planned for sometime in the summer.

The cycle events have been organised to build on the rising popularity of cycling in the area, thanks to events like the Tour de Yorkshire.

The TDY, held earlier on the May Day Bank Holiday weekend, attracted hundreds of thousands of spectators to the area during Stage 2 of the event which finished in Doncaster town centre.
