Free Press freebie offer: Takeaway closure

The Free Press teamed up Asian Spice, in Sandringham Road, Intake to offer a free curry with rice of your choice worth up to £8 for readers.

On Friday it was brought to our attention that the takeaway was closed and boarded up. Owner Mohammed Ali has since said this was due to a dispute with the landlord, which has now been resolved, and the takeaway is open as normal.

Mr Ali said: “We would like to sincerely apologise to our customers and reassure you this will not happen again. As for the offer printed on Thursday, they are still redeemable.

“We look forward to opening as normal today (Saturday) and hope customers will come and redeem this offer.”
