People across the borough will be given the chance to celebrate national Science Week this weekend with a special event for families.
British Science Week is a ten-day celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths - featuring fascinating, entertaining and engaging events and activities across the UK for people of all ages.
On Sunday 22 March Doncaster Museum is hosting its ‘Prehistory Mysteries’ event between 10.30am and 4pm.
Visitors to the museum will be able to meet Sophie the baby Tyrannosaurus Rex, take part a fun craft activities and see Fizzy - their famous Ichthyosaur.
Councillor Bob Johnson, Cabinet Member for Leisure and Culture, said: “This looks set to be a great event.
He continued: “Prehistory Mysteries is free but places are limited so book in advance to avoid disappointment.”
