Fan-tache-stic fundraisers in the market to raise plenty of cash for Movember

If you’ve popped down to Doncaster Market recently, you could have been forgiven for thinking a few new workers had taken up residence.

And that’s because a group of Doncaster Council staff have been foregoing their razors for a month to take part in the worldwide Movember charity fundraiser, in which men grow moustaches throughout the month to raise funds for prostate, and testicular cancer and mental health charities. The idea started in Australia.

The market employees proudly sporting their ’taches, are John Charter, Philip Rowe, Paul Wilson, Martin Gardner, and Paul Winnard, whose efforts have raised more than £600 for Movember.
