Wath Comprehensive School has been rated the best state secondary school in the Dearne by a website that monitors the performance of schools over the past year.

Many parents in the area are currently choosing secondary schools for the children to start in September 2016.

The website - www.schoolsguide.co.uk - has rated all the secondary schools in the area according to key performance data including exam results, Ofsted reports, ‘value added’ score and pupil to teacher ratio.

The table does not include schools without sixth forms.
