Doncaster weekend fire round-up - boy stuck in mud at Rossington

Four fire engines were called out to Windsor View in Rossington after receiving reports of a young boy who had got stuck in mud.

The incident was at 5.30pm on Saturday and firefighters used wooden boards to rescue him.

* Edlington, Adwick and Doncaster fire crews attended an accidental grill pan fire at a property in Cemetery Road at 11.50am on Saturday.

* Two appliances from Doncaster and one from Adwick were called to a fire at a derelict single storey property off Clay Lane in Doncaster at 9.50pm on Sunday night.

The fire is believed to have been started deliberately.

* Doncaster fire crew were called to a deliberate car fire in Canterbury Road, Wheatley, at 10.15pm on Friday.

* At 9.30am on Saturday, Thorne fire crew were called to a large shed fire in Stainforth Road, Barnby Dun. The blaze was started accidentally.
