Doncaster prison absconder found by police

A 44-year-old man who absconded from HMP Hatfield has now been located by police.

James O’Driscoll, 44, who went missing on Thursday, January 8, has now been apprehended in the West Yorkshire area

O’Driscoll was sentenced in 2010 for an offence of arson with intent to endanger life and possession of a blade in a public place.

Kurt Taylor also absconded from the open prison on Thursday, and he is still reported as being missing.

Taylor is described as being around 5ft 8ins tall, with green eyes and brown hair. He has a tattoo with the letters ‘BHE’ on his right arm.

He is known to have connections to the Humberside region.

He is currently serving a sentence for an offence of assault with intent to commit robbery and aggravated vehicle taking.
