Emergency services were called out to a busy Doncaster road last night, following reports of concern for the welfare of a man.
They arrived on the scene at around 7.05pm yesterday evening, after members of the public contacted them concerning the behaviour of a man located on Sprotbrough Road, Sprotbrough.

An eye-witness said: “There were four police cars and two ambulances there as I drove past, and it was clear that something was going on.

“It was at the junction with Anchorage Lane.”

The man was taken to hospital by ambulance.
