Doncaster businesses urged to take part in exporting survey

Businesses across Doncaster are being urged to take part in a survey that explores the exporting problems faced by smaller companies.

As part of his masters degree, Jamie Lloyd is conducting research for his dissertation on ‘barriers to exporting in SMEs’ on behalf of Doncaster Chamber.

Firms that trade internationally as well as those who don’t are invited to take a short online survey to feedback what they experience as being the main barriers to exporting.

Jamie, whi is completing a masters in international management at the University of Sheffield Management School, said: “I’m happy to be working with Doncaster Chamber as part of my MSc dissertation to help improve member business services and interact with SMEs. It’s important to help small businesses grow and achieve their full potential and this is one way that I can help them to do this.”

“I am interested in international business and interacting with lots of small businesses to get a feel for what the business community is like.”
