Kick start your winter season with a bang, with one of the district’s many bonfire and firework displays planned over the next week.
Spotborough Cricket club kick off the bonfire night celebrations on Saturday, November 2 at 6.30pm with a firework party, and entrance is free.
Next is the Askern Firework display at Askern Lake, which also takes place on November 2 from 7pm. Entrance is free but donations are welcome.
Brodsworth Miners Welfare club will host a bonfire party on Sunday from 7pm, which also has free entrance.
Monday sees Bentley Pavillion hold a firework display, which starts at 5pm with an entrance fee of £1 for adults, and 50p for children.
Meanwhile, over in Balby a family fun day and firework display will be held at the Community Sports Village on Springwell Lane on November 4 from 6pm until 9.30pm and entrance is free.
The town’s biggest firework display takes place at the Keepmoat Stadium on November 5, which counts two spectacular firework demonstrations, entertainers refreshments stalls and Tuby’s Fun Fair among its attractions.
Rides on offer at Tuby’s Fun Fair include the thrilling Devil Rock set to appeal to the thrill seekers as well as the Crazy Hopper, Disco Fever, Terminator, Sizzler, Waltzer’s and the Dodgems.
Now in its 12th year, the Keepmoat’s annual firework display is bigger and better than last year, and is bound to be a crowd pleaser.
The children’s firework display starts at 6.30pm, while the firework grand finale starts at 8.30pm.
Entrance costs £3 and is free for children under one metre.
