A Doncaster-based specialist kitchenware company is celebrating its most successful year on record.

ProCook, which has a store in the Lakeside Village Outlet, posted an increase of 20 per cent in sales driven by ongoing strong performance across the business.

ProCook’s like-for-like retail performance has increased 16 per cent with eCommerce sales posting comparable growth of 29 per cent.

The combined performance from both channels has resulted in total sales of just under £16m, with a growth in Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) to around £2.4m.

In addition, ProCook has undertaken further expansion, including a new store at the Resorts World centre in Birmingham and acquiring a new headquarters.

ProCook founder Daniel O’Neill said: “It really has been an incredible 12 months for everyone at ProCook.

“We’ve seen better performance in all areas of the business with more customers coming through the doors and spending more when they do.

“The business growth has been dramatic and, with the impending move to our new HQ, the future looks extremely positive for ProCook.”

Steve Sanders, ProCook’s chief executive officer, added: “This was ProCook’s most successful year ever and clearly illustrates how continuing to focus on our core brand and its values is delivering stunning results.

“Within our outlets and to a growing number of web customers, we are now becoming a specialist destination.”
