Members of the public are invited to hear about the work and achievements of Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals at its Annual Members’ Meeting in September.
The meeting on September 29 will start at 4pm at Doncaster Racecourse, Leger Way, and will showcase the Trust’s work during the last year and its exciting plans for the future including an onsite radiotherapy service at Doncaster Royal Infirmary.
The meeting will also feature the presentation of the Trust’s Annual Report and Accounts for 2014/15 and an opportunity to hear from the DBH executive team and ask questions on the Trust’s performance.
Trust Chairman Chris Scholey (pictured) said: “We very much look forward to welcoming people from across Doncaster, Bassetlaw and Mexborough to our Annual Members’ Meeting. This is an opportunity to share with you the Trust’s achievements and also our ambitious plans for the future of your local hospitals.
“We have also invited staff to exhibit at the meeting and I hope the residents of the areas we serve will come and take the chance to talk to them and discuss the work we do.”
Guests will also have the opportunity to meet some of their local health governors who represent the views of patients, public, staff and partner organisations.
Copies of the Trust’s Annual Report & Accounts 2014/15 will be available at the Annual Members’ Meeting, or by request to the Trust Board Secretary’s office on 01302 381355 or firstname.lastname@example.org email.
