Doncaster actress Sheridan Smith "sober for 76 days" after ditching booze
Doncaster acting sensation Sheridan Smith has reportedly been sober for more than two months after ditching the booze.
The Isle of Axholme starlet, who has just returned to the West End after being forced to take months off with stress and exhaustion, hasn't drunk for 76 days according to The Sun.
The newspaper has reported that Sheridan and model Kate Moss are being kept on the straight and narrow by teetotal DJ Fat Tony.
The actress took over two months off from her starring role in the London show Funny Girl earlier this year after The Sun revealed she had slurred her words and was believed to be drunk during a performance which was cut short.
The newspaper reported a source close to the popular club DJ, whose real name is Tony Marnarch, as saying: “Tony has been a real rock to Sheridan. She’s been through some real highs and lows and he’s been there throughout to support her. He’s now acting as her sober sponsor and she relies on him a lot.
“Tony’s even met Sheridan’s mum who is delighted by how much more energised and healthy Sheridan looks now – in comparison to how she was just weeks ago.
“She hasn’t relapsed once and is now 76 days clean so Tony is chuffed with Sheridan’s progress.”
