Donation helps maintenance of West Stockwith village hall

Trustees of West Stockwith's village hall are installing new windows in the building and were helped with a donation of £125 by district councillor Hazel Brand, using up the last of her annual allowance of members' community grants.

* Other events taking place in the village over the next few weeks include a coffee morning on Monday April 4, in aid of the village hall and parish church.

The fundraiser will be held in the village hall between 10-11am.

On Thursday April 7 there will be a trip to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park thanks to the Bassetlaw Community Minibus. The cost is £11, this does not include admission. For more details and bookings telephone on 01777 709650.

And on Wednesday June 8 there will be folk dancing in the village hall, 8-10.45pm. Admission is £1, children 50p.
