The Olde Castle in Doncaster’s Market Place will re-open its doors on July 4 along with hundreds of other pubs across the country – and bosses have given customers a taste of what to expect.

A post on Facebook said: “Some more steps to reopen our iconic Doncaster pub – disposable menus, table service, personal greetings at the door to ensure we can seat your socially distanced from other customers.

“More changes coming to ensure our team and customers stay safe while socialising with us. Let’s be social while keeping our distance.”

The pub will also re-open with a fresh coat of paint and new food menu.

It added: “We’re back but with some changes to how we serve you.”
