Cyclist injured in Doncaster hit and run


A cyclist has been injured in a hit and run in Doncaster this afternoon.

Officers are appealing for the public’s help following the serious road traffic collision involving a car and a bicycle.

A silver car which is believed to be a BMW or an Audi collided with the cyclist at just after 2pm today on Faraday Close in Harworth.

The driver of the silver car did not stop at the scene. Police are asking people to look out for a car matching this description which may have damage to its front windscreen.

The cyclist was injured in the collision. The extent of the injuries are not yet known.
