A woman is offering a £1,000 reward for information leading to the conviction of the “monster” who strangled a pet labrador.
The fully grown dog was found in woodland with a red and black lead looped around his neck.
RSPCA inspectors believe that two people may have been involved in the dog’s death as he was a big animal. They say that the dog had been deliberately killed.
“This dog suffered an awful death. If you think you can help please get in touch,” Inspector Jo Taylor said in last week’s Free Press.
Now, a woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, has made the reward offer to the Free Press. The dog was found in woods at Womersley, near Askern, last week.
