Police are trying to trace a woman who may have witnessed an incident in Shadyside, Hexthorpe, at around 9.25pm on Monday, June 23.

At 1.20am on Tuesday, June 24 it was reported to South Yorkshire Police that a 42-year-old man had been taken to hospital the previous night with serious head injuries.
