Police in Doncaster hunt slashers

Police are hunting three hooded men after a man was slashed in the street in daylight.

The 52-year-old was slashed on the back in a motiveless attack in Armthorpe.

He was taken to Doncaster Royal Infirmary for treatment following the attack in Beech Road.

Police say the incident happened at around 6pm on Saturday, July 30.

They are now appealing for witnesses for what they describe as an “unprovoked” attack.

It is believed that three men were involved in the attack, all wearing dark clothes and hooded tops.
