Police are working with enforcement officers to handle travellers who have set up camp at Doncaster's Keepmoat Stadium

The Doncaster Council is working alongside South Yorkshire Police to address the issue of travellers at the Keepmoat Stadium.

The travellers were noticed on the grounds of the Keepmoat Stadium on May 6.

A number of cars and caravans descended on of the stadium’s three car parks.

The travellers are on the Keepmoat car parks.

Director of Economy and Environment, Dan Swaine said: "Our enforcement officers are working with South Yorkshire Police, who intend to use their relevant powers to address the issue swiftly."
