A man accused of murdering a Doncaster mum is to appear at court in Sheffield today to formally enter his plea.

Terence Papworth, aged 45 of Dryden Road, Balby, Doncaster, is accused of murdering Amy-Leanne Stringfellow in an alleged attack on June 5.

Emergency services were called to Dryden Road at around about 11.35pm that night and found the mum-of-one critically injured.

The 26-year-old died at the scene.

Ms Stringfellow, who worked as a personal trainer, was a former soldier who served in Afghanistan.
