A DAD who took his child with him while committing crime has been jailed for seven months at Doncaster Crown Court.

Daniel Simon Fisher, 27, admitted five fraud offences carried out on the same day in July when he had obtained a stolen bank card.

He used the card five times at a cash machine at the Spar in Intake while his baby was in a pushchair beside him, said Brian Outhwaite, prosecuting.

Two attempts succeeded and he got £300, but three other to take another £400 were blocked.

The card had been stolen from a woman’s house in Intake after a door was left insecure when she went to collect washing from the line,

CCTV showed Fisher, of Montrose Avenue, Intake, at the ATM with his child.

Fisher’s counsel, Michael Cane-Soothill, said he had already served three months on remand and was desperate to get back to his pregnant partner to support her and care for their child.
