POLICE are investigating incidents involving fireworks at Bolton.
The probe follows a number of incidents in which fireworks, usually bangers, were released in the street or thrown near to people from cars.
Insp Alan Simpson of Dearne SNT (Safer Neighbourhood Team) said: “There have been problems in particular areas such as South Drive, and we would like to remind people that fireworks must be used responsibly.
“Fireworks should not be sold until October 15 unless the seller has a special licence. We have already handed out warnings to two car drivers, and will continue our investigations”.
