A Doncaster man is due to stand trial later this year charged with a string of crimes, including the attempted murder of a woman.
Michael Parkin, of Melville Avenue, Balby, Doncaster, appeared in the dock this week charged with a variety of offences including the attempted murder of Zara Webster.
He is also accused of three charges relating to attempted arson and another charge of attempted arson with intent to endanger life.
He denied the five offences which prosecutors allege were all committed by the 31-year-old at a house in Balby on November 26 last year.
Parkin is due to stand trial at Sheffield Crown Court in the spring in connection with the offences. He was remanded in custody on Tuesday
