Doncaster crime round-up; jewellery, phones and wallets taken in changing room theft

The following crimes were reported on April 16 and 17. Please contact South Yorkshire Police on 101 with any information.

Woodlands: During a training session at Brodsworth Miners Welfare Football Club between 7-9pm on Wednesday the changing room door was left unlocked and stolen were personal items including mobile phones, rings, watches and wallets.

Askern: An opportunist thief took advantage of a door left open at a flat in Sutton Road in Askern between noon and 12.30pm on Wednesday and stole a wallet containing £85.

Conisbrough: Money and medication were stolen when a thief entered the kitchen of a house in Berry Edge Close after the door was left unlocked between 8.40-9.40am on Wednesday.

Thorne: A garage was broken into in North Eastern Road between 9.45am on Tuesday and 7am on Wednesday. The padlocks were removed from the door and items of fishing tackle were stolen.

Cantley: Vandals kicked through the brickwork of an outbuilding at Doncaster Rovers training ground at Ascot Avenue between 5pm Tuesday and 7.30am Wednesday. Entry was gained but nothing was taken.

Warmsworth: Two large garden pots containing flowers were stolen from the doorstep of a house on Stapleton Road between 8pm on Tuesday and 4pm Wednesday.
