The following crimes were reported to Doncaster police on June 30. Anyone with information should call 101.

Cantley: The rear door of a house in Church Lane was smashed by intruders yesterday just before 9am and they got away with £300 in cash.

Conisbrough: A woman was in her garden in Milnergate yesterday evening when she saw a young man about 28 walking from the side of her house and then realsed he had been in through the insecure door and taken her handbag containing £30 from the kitchen.

Wheatley: Burglars who broke into the Astrabound play centre on Crompton Road early yesterday stole £50 worth of sweets.

Town centre: A woman who left her handbag unattended while waiting for a taxi in Cleveland Street between 3 and 4am on Sunday found it had been stolen. It contained £1,000 worth of property.

Warmsworth: A large amount of diesel was stolen from a lorry parked overnight on the layby in Sheffield Road while the driver was asleep in the cab.

Bawtry: A handbag containing a mobile phone was taken from a woman while she was in the Cooper and Griffin pub on High Street around midnight on Saturday.

Lakeside: Three paddle boats moored in the centre of the lake have been damaged with a hammer and their oars and an anchor stolen.

Town centre: An elderly lady found her handbag had been stolen from her shopping trolley while browsing in the BHF charity shop in The Colonnades yesterday afternoon. It contained her bank cards, purse, glasses, keys and £10.

Blaxton: Thieves have stolen a quantity of aluminium signs from the Hill House School playing fields in Station Road.

Cantley: Four windows at McAuley Lower School in Acacia Road were smashed over the weekend, causing £1,000 damage.

Owston: A Vauxhall Vectra was set alight and destroyed off Rockley Lane about 11pm last night.
