Doncaster crime round up, August 1 -

The following crimes were reported to police on July 31 and August 1. Anyone with information contact South Yorkshire Police on 101.

Cantley: Thieves entered a house on Spilsby Close via an insecure window and stole a laptop sometime between 10.15pm on Wednesday and 5am on Thursday.

Cantley: An Ipad, mobile phone and DVDs were stolen when thieves climbed in through an insecure window at a house on Goodison Boulevard between 11pm on Wednesday and 7.30am Thursday.

Tickhill: Jemmy marks were discovered on the patio doors of a house on Saffron Drive. It appears someone had attempted to enter the property between July 28-30 but were unsuccessful.

Bentley: The driver’s side window of a Ford Transit van, parked on Shakespeare Avenue, was smashed between 9am and 5pm on Thursday. A holdall containing a jacket and other clothing was stolen from the front seat.

Wheatley: The tailgates of a Ford Transit flatback van, parked on Norwich Road between 9.30pm on Wednesday and 7am on Thursday, were stolen.

Bessacarr: Thieves stole the glass from wing mirrors of a car on Stoops Lane. The owner believes the theft occurred between 2-3am on Thursday as they were woken by a noise.

Wheatley: A vehicle trailer was stolen from the back of a van parked at the Wheatley Hotel in Thorne Road between 8.30pm on Wednesday and 8am Thursday.

Bentley: Scaffolding poles and wooden batons being used to carry out work at Asquith School were stolen between 4pm on Wednesday and 7am Thursday.

Askern: Garden furniture was stolen from the garden of a property on Eden Drive between 10.30pm on Wednesday and 8am Thursday.
