A 26-year-old man has been injured during an attempted robbery in Doncaster.
The incident is alleged to have happened at around 11pm on Saturday, March 7 at Bentley Park.
It is reported that the 26-year-old man entered the park from Cooke Street, when three men are believed to have threatened him in the park, with one of the men threatening to harm the victim if he did not hand over items of value.
Following a short confrontation, the suspects ran off from the scene.
The 26-year-old sustained minor injuries during the incident that did not require hospital treatment.
One of the men is described as being white, of slim build with a thin face. He is believed to be aged between 26 and 30-years-old and was reportedly wearing a tracksuit with striped bottoms and his hood pulled up.
The second man is described as being white, around 5ft 11ins tall, of broad build. He was reportedly wearing a dark tracksuit with a hooded top and white trainers.
The third man is described as being white, around 5ft 11ins tall, of slim build. He is believed to be aged between 26 and 30-years-old, wearing a dark top with his hood pulled up and dark tracksuit bottoms.
Police have today (Wednesday, March 18) launched a witness appeal and anyone with information is asked to call Doncaster CID on 101 quoting incident number 1283 of March 7 2015.
