THE following people have appeared at Doncaster Magistrates’ Court charged with the following offences.

EDLINGTON: A woman was disqualified from driving for two years after being twice over the drink drive limit. Lynne Nelthorpe, of Ivanhoe Road, pleaded guilty after being caught with 95 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath on October 13 while driving a Renault Laguna along Tickhill Road. She was ordered to attend a 10-day women’s project and had to pay £145 costs.

HYDE PARK: A 33-year-old admitted assaulting a man and was ordered to pay costs. Radomir Lacko, of Carr House Road, admitted beating Kevin Bell on July 16. He was discharged conditionally for 12 months and had to pay £50 in costs.

BESSACARR: A thug was given a community order after pleading guilty to beating a woman. Tony Batty, 33, of Carr Lane, was given a 12-month supervision order and had to pay costs of £85 following the September 20 offence.

WHEATLEY HILLS: A 28-year-old had to stump up £1,000 in compensation to their victim following an assault. Ekrem Matarova, of Danesthorpe Close, was found guilty of beating Fehmi Kelmemdi. Doncaster Magistrates’ Court ordered Matarova to carry out 150 hours of unpaid work after the June 24 offence.

THORNE: A man was given a nine-month drugs rehab programme after admitting stealing £200 worth of lead flashing. Greg Michael Steward, 23, of King Edward Road, committed the offence on September 4. He had to pay £100 compensation and £85 costs.
