The following people appeared at Doncaster Magistrates Court charged with the following offences....

balby: Cannabis production resulted in a £85 court bill and a community order. Mark Alfred Robinson, 43, of Blackwood Avenue, pleaded guilty to producing 15 plants between December 11 and March 11. Robinson was ordered to carry out 200 hours unpaid work as part of his punishment.

woodlands: A man has been jailed for five weeks after threatening a woman and destroying a window. Kerran Joe Bill Walker, of East Avenue, was handed the sentence at Doncaster Magistrates’ Court and was also ordered to pay £150 in compensation after admitting destroying the window on June 1 and using threatening behaviour on the same date. The 20-year-old was also made the subject of a restraining order by the courts.

cantley: A motorist has been stopped in her tracks after being caught driving without insurance. Joanne Elizabeth McGonnell, 39, of Bardolf Road, admitted driving in Ellison Street, Thorne, on March 12 without insurance. She was given six penalty points and ordered to pay £225 by magistrates.

balby: Stealing £8 worth off items resulted in a five week prison sentence for a shoplifter. Vanessa Jane Walker, 39, of Balby Road, committed the offences four days after being released from prison for similar crimes. Walker admitted taking a £2.99 bracelet from Xtras Store on June 10 and taking £5 of household goods from Poundland on the same date.

town CENTRE: A golf clothing thief failed to get a hole in one after being caught stealing £540 of jackets. Dawn Lucy Clegg, 28, of Glyn Avenue, was given a 12 month conditional discharge and was also ordered to stump up £50 by magistrates after admitting stealing the jackets from Direct Golf Uk on May 22.

thorne: A booze thief is not in high spirits after being made the subject of a community order. Nicholas Dean Richardson, 44, of King Edward Road, was ordered to comply with a drug dependency course and a 12 month supervision requirement. He admitted taking £36 of whisky from Tesco on July 9, stealing £20.58 of Lynx deodorant on June 22 and £18.51 of coffee from Co-op on June 23. Richardson also admitted trespassing on rail line in Goole on July 9.

town CENTRE: Assaulting a woman has landed a man with a community order. Sandis Baltgalvis, 27, of Copley Road, pleaded guilty to the March 25 offence. As part of his punishment he must also carry out 200 hours unpaid work and was ordered to stump up £250. Baltgalvis was also made the subject of a restraining order.
