The following people have appeared at Doncaster Magistrates Court charged with the following offences.
BALBY: Unpaid work may be a wrench for David Carl Lawley who admitted trespassing and stealing tools from a garage. The 50-year-old of Earlesmere Avenue will have to carry out 120 hours community work following the offence on May 4.
DONCASTER: Living life in the fast lane has set back a 56-year-old £125. For Grzegorz Lewandowski, of Bentley Road, was caught speeding in Scawthorpe on November 18 having driven 47mph in a 40mph zone. He was fined £75 and ordered to pay £50 costs after pleading guilty.
HEXTHORPE: Joyrider Aaron Paul Reece Clarke received a hefty amount of punishments for taking a car without consent. The 24-year-old admitted taking a Ford Focus from an address on April 28 and smashed it into a brick wall in Carcroft. Clarke, of Abbott Street, also admitted failing to report the crash as well as other offences including failing to stop and having no insurance. He was disqualified for 15 months, ordered to pay £200 compensation in and carry out 180 hours of unpaid work.
LINDHOLME: It was an expensive bar tab for one man who admitted being drunk in a public place, setting him back £200. Neil Barry Jameson, 43, of Wellington Road, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in Silver Street on May 5 and was fined £100 and had to pay £100 costs.
ROSSINGTON: A stubborn 21-year-old was £200 lighter and hit with a drinking ban after refusing to leave an area on the guidance of a police officer. Jamie Dakin, of Kestrel Drive, was ordered to leave Bradford Row after one too many and subsequently fined £100, ordered to pay £200 costs and was banned from drinking in the town centre for six months after pleading guilty to the incident on April 29.
THORNE: A woman was given an eight-week prison term suspended for 12 months after failing to provide a breath sample. Michelle Elmslie, 50, of Lime Tree Grove, displayed “appalling behaviour due to intoxication” on May 5. She had to pay £85 and was disqualified from driving for 29 months.
