Carriage closure on A1M after car plunges into River Don
The northbound carriage way of the A1M between junction 36-37 is closed after a car plunged into the River Don this morning.
At about 6.30am this morning (Monday March 28), officers were made aware that a car had entered the River Don and an operation is now under way to remove the vehicle from the water.
The northbound carriage way is closed and is expected to remain closed for some time while the incident is dealt with.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area.
