People who care for someone with a life-limiting illness are invited to join other carers in the Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust carer support programme.
The programme is relaxed and informal. On offer will be professional advice, support and information to take away, and complimintary refreshments.
The meetings are on September 5 - how a physiotherapist and an occupational therapist can help you as a carer; September 19 - health and wellbeing; October 3- open session; October 17 - emotional journey; October 31 - pamper session and evaluation.
All sessions run from 1pm to 3pm at St John’s Information & Support Centre, Weston Road, Balby..
Carer advisor at St John’s Hospice, Carol Nettleton said: “The carer support programme gives carers the chance to unwind and have some much-needed time to themselves.”
The programme is free, but places must be booked.
