Cabins hit by fire twice in 24 hours

ARSONISTS torched a row of portable cabins in Conisbrough twice in the space of 24 hours.

Crews from Dearne and Edlington stations attended the scene at Burcroft Hill last Thursday at 4am after yobs set fire to a row of eight disused cabins.

This was the second time they had been called out following another arson attack the previous morning at 7.50am.

The fire ripped through the cabins, which were formerly used as offices, and crews spent over an hour at both incidents.

A brigade spokesperson said both fires were started deliberately.
