A recruitment open day seeking applications to fill new jobs at a waste treatment facility in Wath attracted scores of visitors.
Job hunters called into to Wath Library to learn more about opportunities available at the BDR Waste Partnership plant in Manvers. A total of 40 positions will be created at the plant, ranging from machine operators to supervisors and other more general roles to do with handling waste management.
The £750m development will be commissioned early next year and be fully operational by July 2015. It will process up to 265,000 tonnes of waste from across the region. Above, Leanne Pullen, human resources advisor talks to Glyn Simmons
