The Frenchgate Shopping Centre revealed that it has secured substantial investment through new brand signings.
The Frenchgate Limited Partnership announced that a substantial “upsize” for JD Sports has coincided with the addition of F. Hinds the Jewellers, as well as confirmation that seven other retailers have signed up for new fit outs at the shopping centre. JD Sports is to relocate to an 8,500 sq ft store, almost three times its original size, close to HMV and EE on the first floor. F. Hinds has also opened a new 1,100 sq ft store.
To accommodate the moves, Dorothy Perkins will be moving to a 3,600 sq ft store on the ground floor and Miss Selfridge will be relocating to the first floor as part of a proposed new fit out with TopShop.

In total, the 14 brands constitute over 83,000 sq ft and around £2.75m of investment in store fit outs.
