A NEW shop specialising in original and vintage recycled furniture and crockery has opened in Tickhill, near Doncaster.

Reloved Interiors on the corner of Market Place and Sunderland Street is former professional dancer Amanda Butt’s first retail shop.

Reloved is offering a collection of what Amanda describes as upcycled furniture and accessories for shabby chic interiors.

She said: “I became interested in recycling and adapting furniture for my own home and I realised that it was something in which many people were interested. I developed the idea and successfully traded for some time on the internet.

“But it has always been my ambition to open my own shop and when I saw these premises I knew that this was just the location that I wanted.

“I am combining vintage items with traditional techniques to rework and relove forgotten furniture to create unique furnishings for the home. I can source original vintage items and upcycle them to suit personal requirements.”

Amanda, married to Darren, is combining running her new shop with bringing up their three young children.
