Business advisers Grant Thornton are holding an interactive workshop for financial professionals in the Sheffield City Region.
Those attending will be given advice about the new financial reporting standard FRS 102, which is UK-wide accounting standard for companies with years ending on or after December 2015.
The workshop will benefit businesses who are starting to think about restating their comparatives for 2014 or 2015 and gives business owners the opportunity to ask questions about the practical application of the changes.
The session takes place at Grant Thornton’s offices in Broadfield Court, Sheffield, on Wednesday, July 15, from 9.30am to 4pm.
The day will be led by Jake Green, director in Grant Thornton’s technical department, who has an in-depth understanding of both UK Generally Accepted Accounting Practice (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
He will be supported by Mike Redfern, audit partner, and Donna Steel, audit director, both of whom are based within the firm’s assurance team in Sheffield.
The event takes place on Wednesday, July 15, from 9.30am to 4pm at Grant Thornton’s offices in Broadfield Court, Sheffield.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
