Staff from Lakeside Village are sporting pink this month for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The centre will be turning pink on October 16 with a range of colourful decorations and staff wearing pink as part of Big Pink Day. There will be collections and proceeds will go to Breast Cancer Care.

Cheryl Sadler, centre manager at Lakeside Village, said: “We will be fundraising throughout October for Breast Cancer Care and we are sure that our loyal customers will join us in donating to this important cause. I’m sure there will be all sorts of fun fundraising activities going on at the centre and we are really looking forward to raising as much money as we can.”

Nearly 55,000 people are diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK every year.
